That's ringing a bell Alan knew a lad from Church called John King and his dad was a butcher, nearly sure he went into the family business when he left school

Yes she started there in 1970 , and after about 3 years moved up to Holy Family . She was a lovely person . She died in , I think , the early 1990s . It was a tragic loss to her family and friends , and to education .

When I first went to the Holy Family JCB there was a teacher then called Bob Almond, he taught metal work and his wife was school secretary, think she was called Noren, but not sure

I actually knew Bob outside school JCB, as he was a member of St Mary's choir and in later years used the White Bull up New Lane as his local pub.

I was a good friend of Bob's brother-in-law .

Am I right in thinking that Bob and Noreen moved to Wales when they retired ?

Yes I can remember him in St Mary's choir .
