Chifuwan….Mrs Duxbury was my mum.
She was caretaker of the school until December 1991 when she retired.
She received the British Empire Medal for her work in education.
Alas, she died in 2018 at the age of 91.
Her body was donated to Liverpool Medical school for research.
I know I might be a bit biased, but she was one amazing lady.
