Our Great uncle Jim isn't dead.

I can't work out who Ian is talking about who died in 1993. :confused:

So far as I remember Ians Grandad Jim Mclean, the father of Jim Mclean who is the father of Ian Mclean.
Just to add to the confusion Ian's full name is James Ian Mclean so he is also a Jim AND His initials are:-

J.I.M.

If we are talking about our Great Uncle Jim who was married to Frances then he is certainly alive.

As a matter of fact I can't tell you because we always called Jims Dad Mr. Mclean and his mum Mrs. Mclean 'cos we were young and back then it was a sign of respect, (or you'd get a clip around the earhole).

Fair enough.... I had to call people Mr and Mrs too. I thought you might have known their names though, even of you wouldn't have dreamt of using them.

I just didn't mention Hugh but htere certainly was one.....
