Have justed seen your post. Do you mean Stella Barnes ( nee Brindle). If so and you still have not got in touch with Stella I can tell her you are looking for her. She is related to me and I contact her by email on a vey regular basis. Although I live in south Wales I did a trip north last year and met up with Stella.
btw Stella and I " found" each other again through Genes after last having seen each other in the 1960s.

Hi there, yes I knew Stella as Brindle and I used to teach her at the former Woodnook school-- I also knew her mum too and she has tried to reach me on FR but I came out of that. Please give her my best wishes and maybe she could contact me to let me know how she is, Thanks very much. Anne.
