Hiya Scott we have many happy memories of the time we spent with your grand-dad and your grandma as well. Don't think we will be much help with the photos but will ask around for you, I am sure we will know people who knew him in his snooker days. Will get back to you when we have anything to report, give our regards to your Mum Bernie and Ianxx

Hi Scott, I played against your grandad lots of times in the Working Mens snooker league quite a few years ago. He was one of the best. So sorry to hear he passed away. Try the Accrington Observer to see if they have any photo,s of him playing in the Observer cup, I think you may have some luck there. Regards to you and your family.

Brian was a native of Rising ridge, his Rather died in a house fire,in very tragic circumstances. His name is not known by me. Brian had a brother, who I think was younger than him,,his mother was a nice pers0n she worked for Shepherd Bros,in the 60s as I myself did.I hope this is of some help to you.;)

I knew Jack and Bill, Brian was older than me so did not know him as well. But all gentlemen in my eyes, Jack got me my first job.
