Turner Family

I have lost touch with the family of one of my cousins and would like to hear from any of them.

My cousin's name was Derrick Turner (son of James Herbert Turner, my mother's brother, and Ruby née Kershaw) and he was a railway engineer based at Accrington station. He lived in Roe Greave Road from the 1950s and he died in 1975, aged about 48.

He was married to Kathleen (née Topping) and had 3 children, Dawn, Duncan and Heather. Derrick was very involved with his local Boys Brigade for many years.

I don't know if his children still live in Oswaldtwistle but would be pleased to hear of any connections locally.

Thanks for your help but the Turners Cashy knows are not related to me. My grandfather was Charles Edwin Turner (station master at Church station), son of Peter Francis Turner and grandson of Francis Joseph Turner. They were a Blackburn/Preston family.

It's a shame. We are in touch with many distant relations, traced through ancestor research, but I don't know where these 3, who I knew as small children, are now.
