Henry Cullen, WW1 Soldier
With WW1 in the news lately I have been trying to find out more about my Grandfather Henry Cullen's war record and death. I have had little success as all the military sources I have tried say his records may have been destroyed in WW2.
He started his service in the Coldstream Guards before WW1 and ended up in the Royal Defence Corps. He died 15/07/1917 and is buried in an official War Grave in St Mary's RC old churchyard, Clayton le Moors. I would welcome any information or suggestions in finding out more about his military service. Thanks |

This is quite a useful site
The Army Service Corps of 1914-1918 The Commonwealth War Graves site gives your grandfathers rank and service number so you might be able to work from there. Good Luck. |
