On an Accrington Pals website is a photo of six Pals. The only one named is Robert Worthington Rigby. The photo was given to the site by Pete Flynn. I'd like to contact Pete and ask how he came to have this photo, as RWR is my granddad - Pete and I may be related.

I have a head & shoulders of him. I've often thought he had the miserable fisog of a Dobson.

I have learned that Pete Flynn has no connection with my grandfather. I feel sure that there will be Rigbys in Acc who are from his family. Likewise, there may be Dobsons to whom I am related. That family lived in Alliance St, Bash in the early years of the 1900s
