stuff
We've got loads of stuff to get rid of, tried carbooting it but got soaked. Rained all day and hardly any people buying.
eBay is OK but some is heavy and would cost too much to post and what with the listing charges it's hardly worth it. It's all just sort of ram jammed into a spare room at the mo. What we could really do with is a Bring and Buy event and maybe other people could join in too - only problem is finding a venue that wouldn't charge and defeat the object. Any ideas? Pity we don't know anyone with a big garden where we could have a sort of fete or something. |
Re: stuff
y not start by listing it on here first?
hindle lodge on steiner st wud charge but only like 10-15 quid adn the room is pretty decent sized. if u have a few ppl u cud spread the costing... aside from that a sunday on a closed carpark? |
Re: stuff
I suppose listing it here would be the obvious first option. I'll have to mtovate myself to actually look at the junk, er collection of wonderful items. :D

Re: stuff
In America, they have these garage/yard sales in their own, not sure if you have one, but methinks would not be allowed anyway 'cause of people coming and going all the time and always some miserable old goat next door would complain I suppose. Just the cost of an advert in local paper.
Listing sounds good to me .. people do seem to sell quickly on here. As they say, what's 'stuff' to one person is useful to another (or summat like that). |
Re: stuff
Watch out for my listings..................:)

Re: stuff
There was a garage sale recently somewhere near the hospital....so maybe they are allowed...especially if you don't tell the authorities. Act Numb....it works sometimes!
