Re: Clarinet
What is it worth?
|
Re: Clarinet
Nothing if you can't play the thing.
|
Re: Clarinet
"very similar to the one above" ?
Aren't most clarinets very similar? A decent clarinet can be worth a minimum of £150 - £300, but if there are any cracks or faults then it could be worthless. Is there any damage? What condition are the pads in? What colour is the cord? |
Re: Clarinet
How much Cork grease is left in the jar? I have some friends that might be interested but they won't pay much they are all tight ar*es!
|
Re: Clarinet
I will get a picture of it tonight, the pads are in good condition, no damage that i can see, the cork greese is running low but you can pick up another jar for cheep,
|
Re: Clarinet
Still doesn't give me an idea of it's worth.
|
Re: Clarinet
i will have a chat to my ex music teacher abd see what it is worth then i will get back to you asap thanks for your intrest propably around £150-£200
|
Re: Clarinet
A lot depends on what it's made of and the country of origin. There are a lot of cheap imports about. and then on the other hand a Buffet B12 can set you back about £500!
I'm not familiar with this make. |
Re: Clarinet
Mine was brand new from music box in accy. works brilliantley and that one only cost me £100 and everything came with. case, reeds etc.

Re: Clarinet
What make is yours Luke and where was it made?
Mine works 'OK' (if you discount who is blowing it!) but it's a very tatty looking old thing and was made in China. |
Re: Clarinet
i don't really know at the momentum im at college but ill get back to you and tell you. but the main thing is it plays well and i think its ok. i aint practiced in a long time though. im more of a electric guitar person.
