PC speakers

Anyone know where I can get some decent PC speakers?

I play music and can't turn it up or it gets distorted. Would be good to go with my games as well

Re: PC speakers

How much is the budget?

Keep an eye on Ebay(or Richer sounds clearance bargain days) for a S/H amp and speakers system(Seperates Hifi). For not much over £100 you can end up with a cracking audio system that you can also plug CD, Radio, etc into. You can even get crafty and by feeding the PC output and say a CD player through a mixer have both audio sources running at the same time.

Re: PC speakers

I would hook it up to the stereo, but there are two problems with this that I can think of immediately:

1. I would need a very long wire from my computer to my stereo, as the PC is in our attic room and the stereo is on the ground floor in the lounge
2. If such a wire was utilised, I would either need very good hearing, or very deaf neighbours!

Hee Hee, i didn't think of that.

Oh well could you not convince yourself that you need a stereo in the attic then hook it up !!

Thats what Daddiboo would do, any excuse for him.

Re: PC speakers

But then I would have the whole family up here when I am trying to play San Andreas.

2 members of my family would start learning some colourful language!!!

I have seen some systems, but they tend to cost upwards of £100. I don't really want to spend any more than £50
