Re: How far do you let your kids go?
Aye, stick to your guns. I remember as a kid telling my mum when I wanted to do something, that such and such a person was allowed to do it, but she always just replied that she didn't care about such and such and it was me she was concerned about.
I'm 30 now and she still wants to know who I'm with and how I'm gonna get home (I haven't lived in the same house as her for 10 years), quite often I have to give her a call so that she knows I've got back in. It gives her peace of mind, so I just do it. It's difficult to let go, but at 4 and 6 your two are still really tiny and I don't believe they should be able to just wander, too many nasty things can happen today. |
Re: How far do you let your kids go?
I only let my daughter go as far as I deem appropriate wether it be out with her pals or in heated discussions. Once the boundries are set then it makes life a lot easier and puts my mind at rest
