A Taste For The Unusual?

Warburtons the bakers recently held a survey on bizarre snacks that people eat and in particular, new combinations of food.
This is their results:

10) Coca-cola with Red wine
09) Chocolate with Salted crisps
08) Honey and Cheese sandwiches
07) Banana IN Chicken soup
06) Peanut butter and Bacon sandwich
05) Gherkins and Ice cream
04) Coca-cola with Milk
03) Chicken casserole with Chocolate sauce
02) Mars bar sandwich
And the winner - - Spaghetti Bolognese on a bed of Crisp!!

I used to love Sugar sandwiches as a child, are there any more peculiar tastes out there?

A better treat is Pea-nut butter, bacon, sliced raw onion, under the grill with a layer of cheese, yummy.

Oh, and I also love soup with Crisps, hey, don't knock it 'til you've tried it.

Less - I also remember watching you make an oxo cube butty when I was little. I then decided that the oxo cube must be really tasty & sneaked into the kitchen cupboard and bit into one - urghhhhhh! I can still remember the taste now, it took a few glasses of water to get rid of it!

I too have enjoyed no 10. Unlike short stuff I love Oxo cubes. Raw jelly, Goblin meat pud butties. Turkey egg and cottage cheese is a lovely sandwich filler. I enjoy chilli with doritos instead of rice.

My hubby likes cheese scones with raspberry jam on them.
And all the nurses used to laugh at me in our coffee lounge when I used to make crisp and Banana butties......I too, preferred salt and vinegar crisps.....but would also have plain ones is there were no salt and vinegar crisps.
An Australian favourite sarnie is bread and butter with hundreds and thousands on.....although they call it a 'sprinkle' sandwich!
