Any lousy photo suggestions for the calendar-that-might-not-be this year?

There's a photo somewhere of me stood with Britcliffe and a cake to celebrate 10 years of Area Councils. Why the hell did I agree to that?

I count that as my first major mistake because it was against everything I believe in.

I decided not to go anywhere near Scaitcliffe House when the cake was about - I thought it was ridiculous having a cake for Area Councils. Total waste of council tax payers money.

My questions about the Market Hall for the Leader and my motion to abolish the Area Management calendars are now on the agenda. Rumour has it that he won't be putting himself in the firing line about the market though.

Why, if he feels so passionately about it?

Since the public gallery will be full of market traders you'd think he'd relish the opportunity to tell them what a good job he's doing.

Isn't modern Science wonderful?

A bird that has been extinct since the 17th century has been resurrected just so Labour can place the Country into it's deepest crevices!

What has that got to do with anything? We're talking about one man's egotistical spending in Hyndburn here, John.

There's another motion at council that he's trying to quash at the moment, something far more serious than poxy calendars and something he is very very keen not to have a policy on because it will lose him votes if he does.

The man needs to be voted out.

Talk about burying it deep Jay!

You could at least give him a clue, which post in which thread?

There are:-
Total Threads: 46,362
Posts: 787,547

and although you don't come on much even you have managed 16,837 posts during your short time as a member, so perhaps a link might help?

Maybe you should read this report in the Banker it shows the UK govenment will actually end making money from the part privatised banks.

Bank crisis: Payback time - The Banker

Also John I have more important things to do with my time than spend all day arguing with you.

No but if you think you can score a few cheap political points your on here like a rash, your visits were (or should I say post,as you were regularly on line) were few and far between when Gordon was dragging this country into this flaming mess we're in now, but I suppose defending the indefensible is hard even for you Joan

Pages 3 and 4, Cllr Clare Pritchard's motion regarding taxi licensing.

Cllr Britcliffe's policy is not to have a policy on this.
