Blair - sack him now!
No, I am not on about the PM but his namesake, the clown in charge of the Metropolitan Police. I know he sees his job as being primarily to pay homage to every wacky, politically correct cause imaginable, but his utterings on the Soham murders are beyond contempt. The next London constable I see, I shall inform him of my sympathies in having such a lousy boss. Can anyone possibly agree with the sentiments of this raving nutter?

Re: Blair - sack him now!
If the Chief of the Met doesn't understand what all the 'fuss' was about regarding the Soham murders then it is perfectly clear that he is not the right man to be leader of the Met. Someone should inform him of this and give him a chance to resign.

Re: Blair - sack him now!
I would agree with you, but let me ask you why you neglected to cause a hue & Cry over the acts negligence perpetrated by Prime Minister Blair and is idiotic Education Minister both of whom failed to act on the Bichard Inquiry Recommendations and allowed a number of Registered Sex Offenders to enter and work in our schools.
I would have thought that that criminal act of negligence would have been more important to the public interest then the mutterings of this idiot Ian Blair. |
Re: Blair - sack him now!
both of these men are deluded, self serving egotists......and should be shot into space...except that would litter space.

Re: Blair - sack him now!
Quite right Margaret, but I am not to sure if this is not staged as a way out of having to resign over the Brazilian shooting. If he goes over his Soham Comments he’s save’s greater face politically than he would if he went as a result of prosecutions over the aforementioned death.
If he was to resign over Brazilian shooting then Mr Leaf would be at the forefront of public dissent and would be calling for the government to fall on their swords (most of which would be of the pork verity no doubt) However, by defiling the public memory of the Soham murders he allows himself and the Government a way out. He falls on his sword and in a few months starts to make millions on the public circuit. |

Re: Blair - sack him now!
No I certainly don't agree with his comments re: the Soham murders.
Strange week in politics. This moronic statement from Blair, Hamas elected into power in Palestine, and the outright lies regarding his sexuality of the favourite to win the Lib Dem leadership battle Simon Hughes. The same Mr Hughes who appeared on Hyndburn's Consevative's candidate James Mawdsley's pamphlet, along with Anne Widdicome. Less pro-choice, and more pro-truth please. Who said a week was along time in politics? At this rate, twenty four hours is too long. |
Re: Blair - sack him now!
Absolutely disgusting what that idiot has come out with regarding the Soham murders. To accuse the media of institutionalised racism holds no truth with me. Theres been many high profile crimes regarding other minorities that have been just as horrific to read! Stephen Lawrence, Damilola Taylor and Victoria Climbie to name a few of the more recent ones. These names are as familiar to us as Holly and Jessica because of the nature of the crimes, not because of their skin colour!! gggrrr Hmmmm .... naughty man! :(

Dunno what he said

Re: Blair - sack him now!
According to the news tonight he has apologised for his 'inappropriate' comments regarding the Soham murders......personally i don't think an apology is enough......he should have his epaulettes ripped off!
And as for him saying that the media was guilty of institutionalised racism....I'm sorry, but he is talking through his politically correct useless flatulent bumhole. |
