With all the CCTV cameras up there as well. Feel secure and safe on the station...... err nope not likely. Is it assault or murder?

Somebody told Mimi tonight that there'd been a fight at the fair last night. Could there be a connection? :(

I dont think a fight could of turned into a death... could it? I hope not. I might start carrying a stanley knife around with me. Or would I get in trouble with the police?

You would be in serious trouble if you were caught carrying a knife of any description and remember....a weapon can be taken from you by an attacker and used against you. DEFINATELY NOT RECOMMENDED

thomas 045 - the answer to that question is yes...you could get into serious trouble carrying a Stanley knife. It counts as an offensive weapon.....as does a hairdressers steel tail comb......I know that may sound daft but it is true.

It wouldn't be the first time.

What about that do in the Golden Cross on Friday? That was a violent fight and it could have ended in death. At first it was thought to be a murder.

I always thought there was a 3inch rule regarding blades. Anything over 3inch is an offensive weapon. Of course, some people can carry things that are classed as offensive weapons without it being confiscated by the police. A hair dresser obviously wouldn' have her comb taken from her, though if a man was walking around at 2am with one and lurking around I reckon he'd have it taken from him.

Different rules for different people. The law itself doesn't individualise people but the application of it does.

always have a bottle of perfume or aftershave,,,,and spray the eyes of an attacker....
that would probably get you arrested too...

Re: Body on accy station

I don't think your going to get in too much trouble if you defend yourself against an actual attacker. The problem is just being armed for no real reason, it makes you look like YOUR the attacker.
