Airline
Just watched one of those episodes on Easy-Jet tonight. My viewing of this programme has been very limited, but don't you find the staff extremely rude and inexperienced in dealing with obnoxious travellers? Ok, they are all playing to the camera and the customers are really hard work and obviously feeling extremely foolish and distraught cause they missed their plane and really need a little sympathy, but the way the staff lose their cool is not at all professional and they should grit their teeth at all times.
You learn to never, ever to leave/walk away from a customer at any time until you are satisfied they know you have done everything possible for them, even though they are blinkered to the the rules of flying and feel you are banging your head against a brick wall. Sometimes, however, airline staff can be a little like this,(talking ground staff here) cause they know you are vulnerable and nervous and relying on them for your safety and getting on to that aeroplane on time. A little like beauty counter assistants when they are stood there looking young and gorgeous and you (me really) getting wrinkley and asking for advice.:( |

Next time just squirt them in the face with perfume :) They are all air between their boufants anyway.

I agree with you. Having worked for donkey's years in your least favourite Government department I have had to learn how to break the "bad news" sympathetically and with some understanding. I am appalled, sometimes, at the attitude adopted by Easy-jet staff to passengers. It certainly doesn't encourage me to fly with them.
