Re: What is your favourite holiday destination?
Anywhere in the uk, I'll go abroad one day but can't be bothered with the hassle. Blackpool is special to me, I was made there, and returned there for many family holidays. Think my electrical career and christmas light interest has a lot to do with blackpool. I like devon, the south coast, wales, the lakes, got a caravan at skeggy to escape to. Just jump in the van, and off for the weekend.

Re: What is your favourite holiday destination?
Cornwall holds lots of happy childhood holiday memories for me, used to go down quite a lot as a kid. Setting off in what seemed the middle of the night to avoid the worst of the traffic and wondering if the car would make it all that way!
I went to Thailand for 3 weeks over christmas '97 and I'll never forget that either, I'd love to visit other contries in that part of the world. Pics: www.lomohomes.com/superbad (in Public albums). |
Re: What is your favourite holiday destination?
I agree Mayrhofen is nice but, of the places I have been I'd have to say Oklahoma but then there are some super places I'm planning on going to over the next few years such as Italy and Canada which may take over the accolade of favourite place.
For places within the UK Llnafacreth in North Wales, Ambleside, Coniston, Hawkshead area in the Lake District, Isle of Skye in Scotland and Dunster in Somerset take some beating :D |
