Oswaldtwistle Players on the Road to Nowhere
 

On 3rd August, 2006 we are holding read throughs for our next production The Road To Nowhere.

This is a brand new comedy written by one of our members so this will be the world premiere. It will be presented in October at Ossy Civic Theatre.

Synopsis
Mike and Susan have been married a long time and both want to have the ideal holiday. Unfortunately they both have different opinions about what the ideal holiday is. Susan dreams of cruising around the Med whilst Mike has two weeks in his brand new deluxe mobile home in mind and that's what they end up doing.

After a slight run in with a Kwik Fit Fitter they set off to Devon in their mobile home but things don't run according to Mike's plan. First of all they end up accidentally kidnapping the Kwik Fit Fitter then they find that the camp site they've found isn't quite what either of them had hoped for.

Is this a farce, Lord Rix style? Does anyone lose their trousers? Are there any females running round the stage in scanty underware?

No, but there is mistaken identity, confusion and a 'body'!
