Suffolk murders.
Apparently another man has also been arrested for these murders, along with the first man. Although no one has been charged with them yet.
What really shocked me though was an interview with one of the young prostitutes on last nights ITV news. She said she was shocked at the first arrest because she'd been out plying her trade on the Sunday night, when she telephoned the first man who has been arrested, because she wanted a lift home, which he did. All this ten hours before his arrest. Lots of people on here have said how desperate these girls must be to still be working the streets whilst the killer is out there, and most criminal profilers have publicly said that the killer will know these young women well. I think this young woman should be very glad she is still alive to tell her tale. |
Re: Suffolk murders.
my aunt lives in Trimley st mary which is the next village to Trimley st martin, its a really nice quiet place, i was down there myself in October......its frightening to think just 2 weeks later those girls where murdered not far from where i was staying, when i go down there i wander about like ive lived there all my life.....although i aint a prostitute, that could of been me :(

Re: Suffolk murders.
I've visited Ipswhich myself a couple of times, and it is a quiet, normal, nice town.
What this tragedy has highlighted is the fact that prostitution happens everywhere throughout the country, not just in the big cities, and sadly the reason it flourishes is all down to the scourge of drugs in the country, and the easy availability to our young people. |
Re: Suffolk murders.
like people have said many times rindy, prostitution has gone on forever, there will never be an end to it nomatter what the goverment do, i truly feel sorry for those girls' families, most of them had children (fair enough they should of thought about the children before going on drugs) but its so easily done nowadays, you get in with the wrong crowd and BOOM your life is over with....my heart really goes out to them

Definitely a weird one this. The girls they've interviewed on the news seem very fond of the first guy they arrested but they've just extended his custody, which makes you think he must have something to do with the girls murders. The second guy seems to fit the stereotypical idea of a misfit serial killer. |
Re: Suffolk murders.
lol dont tell them that yee..they'll be wanting to set up an account....;).......hmmmmm criminology i love it, i'd love to be a criminal profiler, your the one that did this at college yee, what do you thinks going to happen???

Re: Suffolk murders.
LOL! Ian was asking me that ;)
Ask the coppers to send all the files over I'll have a look :D I don't know how the Tom Stephens guy is going to be connected but I don't think he has killed the girls. Though he does have evil eyes that hide some deviancy imo lol! |
Re: Suffolk murders.
i doubt there where 2 murderers, tom stephens is just a little bit creepy for my liking, maybe he was more like a pimp to the girls,he was an ex special constable, maybe he was just looking out for them...but the question is, why was he an EX??? did he get thrown out of the specials?? if so what for?...nothing has been said about this other bloke yet apart from his name....watch this space

Re: Suffolk murders.
Neither man has been charged yet so we can't make too many assumptions. I remember when little Jamie Bulger was killed, the police arrested an innocent 12 year old boy - because he was a bit of a loner and a bit strange. The boy's neighbours would have torn him to pieces, if they'd been given the chance, and he'd done nothing wrong.
On the face of it, it looks like that was what led police to the first man in this case - he's odd. Maybe he is the killer, maybe not. We'll just have to wait and see if he and/or the second one is charged, on the grounds of hard evidence. |
Re: Suffolk murders.
west ender you should read the books by paul britton, he's a criminal psychologist, his books are excellent and really give you an insite into how the criminal mind works, he's worked on all the 'famous' murders,he was the criminal psychologist on the jamie bulger case and the fred and rose west case, he also took on the case when rachel nickell was murdered on wimbledon common, the books are called 'the jigsaw man' and 'picking up the pieces' they are rather intriguing
