Was it busier than normal?

Well it is nearly Christmas and people are in the mood to party.

andrewb 22-12-2006 23:16

Re: Accrington Night?

People were queueing to get in the calder. I was told it used to be like this (christmas time) every sunday and people would come from all over to go accy.. how things have changed, things seem dead sometimes on a friday when im out.

Re: Accrington Night?

It used to be like that every Sunday night. People waiting to get into places in the cold. How times have changed. Normally now you can walk right into anywhere and get served straight away....which makes for a more expensive night I suppose.:D

I think you've shown remarkable constraint, I'd have rolled in with the milk.

Mind you we don't won't you complaining you aren't very well, you brought this on yourself.

You're young, your liver will recover, enjoy yourself.:D

Well yeah but it'll still make me feel sick tomorrow :p I ate bacon when I got home, and ryvita with philidelphia on. I figure the salt from the bacon will somehow work in my favour.

No Cyfr, no excuses necessary .. just tell 'em the truth .. "Look, I am enjoying the Christmas break and had a little too much alcohol last night, that's why I look like ****" Always better than lying. They will just nod in understanding and eyes to the heavens and that will be that.

So there we have it. Three ryvita with philidelphia on and three pieces of lightly smoked bacon + 2.5hours of drinking water, avoids sickness in the morning. :p
