Just back from the meeting tonight;can't say too much but a couple of healthy (anonymous) donations may have saved us for the season. Club is still desperate for some new members down there;some fresh blood with new ideas and the enthusiasm to see them thru.

Had me worried then as theres two of us... 10 quid each :)

Accy ladies are playing a friendly in afternoon and as our daughter plays we will prob dissapear for 2 hrs then back again... but cricket is an all day thing so no worries there :) well worth a tenner.. hardly much more than entrance fee anyway...

Wont be free beer all day thats just silly.. complimentary drinks.. but having been a part sponsor before (with lowiey and the ultras) I know its a good drink and good food :)

OK so whats the start time for everyone to be there?

Do people realise that if they don't turn up that means the rest of us have to make up the shortfall and pay there part.. so hopefully everyone will be there :)

Who do we pay on the day?

If everyone wants to chip in 1 pound each then I will get the trophy for man of the match and bring on day... unless someone else is bringing one?


Theres plenty of room if anyone else fancies an afternoon of drinks, food, watching cricket and helping the club out ? :)

I'll be doing my best to be there Mr K. Its planned for away. either way I'll stump up my bit. If I can't make it I'll send it paypal + costs if you wouldn't mind passing it on kind Sir, but like I said I'm hopeing to be there. :) Where and When are people meeting?

The match starts at 1:15, if you wanted to meet up somewhere prior to that please do ( I will be beavering away at the Club !); there will be a list of names at the gate so you get free admission, I will use the names you use on here to save confusion ! Will find out today who needs to collect the money and post it on here.
I also need to know from you lot what you want as your complimentary drinks; ie mostly lager,some cider ,white wine etc etc so we can sort that out. Stick a post on here.

K ; think the trophy plan is great and don't think folk would mind shelling out an extra quid !

I will be on Shandy as I am well known for not being able to drink :) Julie will probably go for the white wine option..

I will get a trophy and have a whip round for it then.

Everyone turn up to help Accrington CC .. not turning up has the opposite effect... More names would be nice as well.
