I have been off AW for a week and only just found out the news. My condolensces to you and your family Bernadette. Ian was a great fella who I had the pleasure of meeting a few times. Not only will he be missed by family but also his friends here on Accyweb.

Oh Bernie, I'm so very, very sorry.:mad:

I've only just received a pm, letting me know of this sad news. I popped into the chatroom last night, and typically you asked me about my holiday, rather than want to break the sad news.

Ianto and myself became mates after some hilarious late night bickerings. We may have had a few disagreements about trivial things, but deep down we had a great deal of respect for each other. He was a good man, and I, like many, will miss him.

My condolences to all his family and friends, but especially to Bernie, who was kind enough to keep me informed about how Ian was when the treatment made him to unwell to post on here.

God bless, old mate. Have a glass of Merlot on me.

hi, all, just arrived home from ian's funeral, bernie is bearing up very well, she got her hugs of you cherokee & g/claret. do doubt she will be on later.

Thanks to everyone who managed to get to the funeral. He got a good send off and once again thanks for all your lovely tributes to Ian.
