Downing Street Petitions

I've been doing a lot of reading about food additives recently and came across the Petitions area of the Downing Street Website.

It makes both humourous & interesting reading, from Jeremy Clarkson for PM (think we've done this topic on here!) to creating a new public holiday to honour Remembrance Day, so which ones would you sign? :D

The interesting thing is its entirely pointless! The government don't care about peoples views, they just want it to look like they care.

When over a million people signed about road charging, Blair just e-mailed them all telling them something along the lines of "Thanks for your opinion, but I disagree and we'll press ahead" :p
