Not Mid Pennine Arts
 

I just want to clear up something that was in this morning's Accrington Observer - should anyone wonder.

The Civic Theatre consultation is NOT a Mid Pennine Arts project. I was employed by Leisure in Hyndburn to complete the consultation as a freelance consultant.

I actually only work two and a half days at Mid Pennine Arts and the rest of the time I work freelance for a number of other organisations and companies.

I don't want anyone to think that I've used Mid Pennine Arts name to misrepresent myself.

I've sent a letter to the paper, my boss at Mid Pennine Arts and the people who have employed me at Leisure in Hyndburn.

Do the papers ever get anything right, its not the 1st time you have had printing problems with them , send them a letter of complaint gayle, its not fair paying out good money when they arnt getting it right

What letters Neil, I have always held Gayle in greatest of esteem, only occasionally disagreeing with her on P%&*£!<@?~ans, I didn't mention the word as not to start it all up again:rolleyes:

I doubt it, being in a conservation area they would not be able install those great big ugly green things on the roof aka green onions

So here we are again and the Telegraph printed a story yesterday and said that I was still with Mid Pennine Arts. I've had to go around explaining the HBC who are paying me for the work that I'm not working for MPA and I've had to go to MPA and tell them that I'm not trading on their name.

The reporter has apologised and told me that it was added after she submitted it and the sub-editor who added it didn't check the facts.

I hope they all read this.
