. . . . have announced this morning that they are to shut 72 of their stores, due to a 'dramatic drop in sales'. Could this be another town centre shop down the drain? I hope not we don't have another decent sports shop in town (gibsons doesn't count, its a chav supplies shop, not a sports shop!!!)

If that goes it will mean travelling to blackburn or burnley for the nearest one (isnt there 2 in blackburn? maybe one of them will go, who knows)

we have 3 JJB's in Blackburn, one behind the train station next to the cinema, a huge one up Shad and a smaller one in the centre of town next door to BHS

Oh no! Thats terrible I have 2 friends that work at JJB, one in Bolton and one at the Shad one. Although they both work in the gym's as personal trainers so maybe they will be ok??

Well you can always go to soccer sports in B'burn,it's a lot cheaper

Not suprised, 3 lads I know work at the one in accy and they say they've had their hours cut.

I know a couple of lads at the accy branch. I dont often get chance to go in, the lift is out of order quite a lot but it always seems quiet in there

its all the JJB shops to go.
i think primark as a lot to do with all this for the cloths are so cheep
