Well done to Spot On buses
 

I've just had a call on my mobile from what I thought was my son (it came up with his name).

Only it wasn't my son.............it was a gentleman from the lost property office at Spot On buses, telling me that my son/daughter had left the phone on the bus and it had been handed in. He was phoning to tell me they had it and it was safe.

Good job my son has my name stored under Mum http://www.blackburn247.com/forums/i...lies/smile.gif

I'm impressed. And also grateful to the honest person that handed the phone in.

Now I just have to find my son to let him know............and I can't ring his mobile to find him lol. Will be like looking for a needle in a haystack

My mum lost her phone a while back, think it was up near home bargain on that estate. Someone phoned her that evening and she went to pick it up, they had got her number off "home" in her phone. She was lucky to get it back really and was very grateful to the person who returned it. She offered them a small reward but they would not take it. I think its nice to know that there are still some honest people around, not only the staff at spot on but the person who initially handed it in

theres plenty of honest people about, its just the scum gets all the coverage, what i call "the silent majority";) glad yer lad got his phone back.:)

Talking of lost things. Ginger was working Saturday and Sunday night. Then he was off Monday and Tuesday.

Work rang him up on Tuesday and said " have you found a wallet in your taxi?? A customer has just rang up and said they think they lost it in your cab on Sunday night about 10pm " ...... Ginger said, " no don't think so, but I will check " When he checked, the wallet was Lodged between the front passenger seat and the door. How lucky is that?? He worked til 3pm on Sunday night!! No-one else picked it up and it never fell out the door!!! :eek:
