Mopeds for Blackburn and Darwen traffic wardens
From the Telegraph web site
Traffic wardens in Blackburn and Darwen have been given mopeds to ride around the borough. What do you think about Hyndburn doing the same thing? I have a couple of thoughts 1. I like how the moped in the picture is illegally parked on the yellow lines while he writes out a ticket. 2. I am not sure if they can enforce those yellow lines in the picture either as they are so badly worn. Any thoughts on my points or others |

Re: Mopeds for Blackburn and Darwen traffic wardens
They don't need mopeds in Hyndburn, just chain the wardens to the lamp posts on Blackburn Road.

I don't know why everyone hates traffic wardens. If you didn't park illegally you wouldn't get a ticket!
Saying that last year when it was snowing, I parked in a disabled space, but didn't know because the markings were covered in snow and the b******s slapped a ticket on me! |
Re: Mopeds for Blackburn and Darwen traffic wardens
ah but NOT everyone who gets a ticket is parked illegally, my dad contested a ticket, took pics and everything, they realised their mistake and quashed his fine

Re: Mopeds for Blackburn and Darwen traffic wardens
I'm not saying everyone, but the majority of people park on double yellows and then wonder why they get a ticket.
I know its really annoying, but at the end of the day the yellow lines are there for a reason - safety of others normally. |
