Are you an ex-Accrington Boys Grammar School pupil?
Describing himself as "an Accringtonian in exile", Bob Dobson recalls
his days at Accrington Grammar school with great affection. He has set out to find out "where are they now?" so far as the 73 lads in short trousers who started at AGS with him in 1952. "Some still live in Accy, but others I haven't heard of since throwing my school cap away" Bob said. He doesn't have a reunion in mind, merely putting some information together so that his fellow classmates can learn something about the lads they sat with in their years at the schoool under Ben Johnson. He has sent letters out to the 30 or so lads he has traced, and hopes to hear from or about the others soon. A few have died. Contact Bob on Tel/Fax 01253 895678 or by e_mail at [email protected].
