Somehow, thirty years on, that does not seem so far fetched.

Fluoride is already 'dumbing down' populations, and as a waste product from the aluminium industry, it is ultra cheap to use.

Just had a look at Zopiclone - nasty stuff.

Amnesia, dependance, benzo-like withdrawal symptoms. Can lead to sleepwalking, sleeptalking, sleepeating and most dangerous of all Sleepdriving! Impairs psycho-motor function and also hand-eye coordination.

Oh, btw, it is also potentially carcinogenic, apparently.

Sci-fi, Science Fiction. I used to really like it when I was a teen. I find it a bit old hat now though.

Funnily enough the same sort of technique is being used to sell us the idea of a Federal Europe.

No one in their right mind would go for the idea as is, so it is sold to us as the only solution to a manufactured crisis. In much the same way as flouride is sold to us as a way to protect our children's teeth.

Oh dear.

You've gone right down in my estimation.

I gave up on fantastical literature at the age of three.

When I found out that there weren't really pixies and elves at the bottom of the garden.

:D

Fair do's Rindy, most of us are paranoid.

It is merely a question of degree and where manifestation is a function of stress loading.

All right, I confess. I was a spotty fifteen year old nerdy kid, once. And do you know what? I'm proud of it!

because...

at the end of the day....

It is, as I said, a question of degree. Your not including Fairies in the list of fantastical creatures you did not believe lived at the bottom of your garden is a dead give away.

Dear Doctor Freud would have had a field day if he could have gotten you on his couch. There is a PhD in you for some lucky soul.

Ah, but there was one.

Until they were evicted from the shed, and served with a restraining order.

;)

The notion that "I can't see it, so it doesn't exist" has been proven wrong before.

Some people have sharper senses than others, so you should never rule out the possibility.

Are you sure about that?

Therapy can only work, rindy, if you are prepared to tell the truth.

And where does the bondage come in??
