Reasonable and practical?...you mean more like a man?
You chose your wife....if you didn't choose wisely there is only one person to blame, and it isn't her.
Reasonable and practical.......like as in, you can do all the things that your wife does and in half the time and with half the available resources.
Will you just look at your palms and check to see if the nail holes have healed?
There was only one man who was perfect and he was crucified for it.

But you're not doing,MargaretR!
I do love women-and Border Collies, cigarettes, driving fast cars fast, alcohol, warm feet-just not necessarily in that order. You can be so-how do I put it? Unreasonable and impractical!

All discarded lovers should be given a second chance, but with somebody else.
Mae West

His mother should have thrown him out and kept the stork.
Mae West

Marriage is a great institution, but I'm not ready for an institution.
Mae West

Despite all my past experience, I have loved deeply,
......just found that I had wasted my time on men who subconciously thought they didn't deserve me :D - their loss not mine

I gave them all 'long ropes' - bad policy - men expect to be nagged and are confused when you don't. It is just social conditioning.

PS they were surprised when I unhitched the ropes from the moorings :D

Perhaps you misunderstood my meaning there, MargaretR.
