Christmas in accy
 
its a joke went into town today all the kids off school, on broad way nothing no kids rides no brass band, but we did have a busker,all other town's can put things on at Christmas but not accy, has the council spent up on the market house,

been in Manchester today and they had allsorts on (yeah i know its a city but still) they had old fashioned fairground rides and it was beautiful, came back through Accy on the way back and it looked so dull

Call me what you will but I was glad there were no rides etc in town. Shopping this time of year is stressfull and expensive enough having to drag the littles ones around, could you imagine the nagging id have got if there were rides etc, it would be mummy mummy mummy non stop ;)

at least youve got lights.in irvine ayrshire theyve only got about a dozen lights heading down to the shopping mall no christmas light or any ceremony just christmas songs coming out of cash converter:rolleyes:

Yes Cashy, but the loudmouthed yobs were around in some numbers - can't understand why they talk so loud when standing next to the recipient of their views. Once thought it was because parents etc had worked in the weaving sheds or spinning rooms - don't think many of them exist anymore - upset thst Santa's Grotto in the Market Hall was closed.
