Skiing
 

Chancellor George Osbourne has gone off on a skiing holiday, and we are all supposed to be jealous. Personally, I feel sorry for him.

I have been to a ski resort once, and it was once too many. Where is the fun, living in a miserable climate, going off voluntarily looking for worse, colder weather which freezes you knac*ers off? The joys of skiing, I'm afraid, have always completely eluded me. :confused::confused::confused:

I hope he enjoys his skiing holiday as much as I did.

As far as I'm concerned, he's welcome to it, if that's what floats his boat. It just ain't my idea of fun!

Went Ski-ing in the Harz Mountains & Bavaria, can't say I was over impressed spent most of the time on me arse, to make it worse there were all these little snot noses hurtling past us while we were just about getting to grips with snow plough style Ski-ing.

Mind you we also did a couple of "Snow Queen" 6 Month exercises as the Med response team to pick up broken squaddies, then visit them in the Ozzy ! My how we chuckled, ah happy days ! :D

Ah so George is off for a well deserved holiday.. I do hope he dosen't have any accidents on the slopes.. like skiing into a tree and breaking his neck :eek:.. the country needs him! ;)

Once went to the Bahamas, nice weather, that said it was not as nice as the place Saint Tony and his bint of a wife used to stay in courtesy of Cliff Richard
