Then again, a million Poles and East Europeans may be proving me wrong.

There are a lot of people in this country who do not want to work...so the minimum wage issue is of no interest to them.

My daughter has a B.sc, degree...but she is currently working for the minimum wage...because she wants to work. She grew up seeing parents who both worked, in order to get the things we wanted to make our life better. She is doing the same, so that her family can pay their way.

There are families in this country where no-one works.......so the work ethic is not demonstrated.

I write rubbish.

It's always beautifully spaced.

Therefore it looks pleasing to the eye.

I'd happily be your Ugly, but it's all getting a bit too cliquey, and we don't want to frighten new members, so I'll have to sadly decline.

Just leave me alone with my thoughts, and my one true love.

Yes but, we'd be cliquey in an agreeable way.

As for you and your one true love I want to say 'Stop that, and put your clothes on this minute'....but I fear that it would be moved to the adult section....and I'm not allowed in there.
Oh drat....I've said it now!:D:o:D(that's me in the middle of the clique)

The fact that the Telegraph has said it could be hampering young people from getting a job, bloody hell when I started work I was on 7d an hour, that's less than 3p in today's money, just a thought;)

Very apt though of course Cliques don't exist in this dimension of Accyweb. Margaret can be non other than the Good, Garinda can be Bad (When he is good he is very very good but when he is bad....) and as you have volunteered Eric you can be Ugly!(Nothing personal) ;):D

This is neither beautifully spaced nor pleasing to the eye -but we can't all be artists...

Straight thinking and straight writing are to be commended, Margaret.

The spiralists think they are more creative...but it has yet to be proved.

Narcisus and the one who ignores himself are poles apart but are inversely similar.

Let's hope they can maintain their 'Uman rights and continue as they are now the Home Secretary has declared in Conference that she wants them to go.
(Resubmitted as I took to long to edit the above as i hadn't read on through the thread!!)

No mobile phone?

No 42'' flat screen tv?

No satellite?

No central heating?

No fitted carpets?

No leather sofas?

No take aways?

No game stations?

No lap tops?

:eek::rolleyes:

Margaret, that wasn't being poor.

That's child abuse.

You should contact a no win/no fee 'uman rights lawyer right now, and sue the government.

I'm sure cmon-eileen will back you all the way.
