I think someone with medical training should find out if he knows who the current President is, the year we're living in now, and what day of the week it is today, before he's allowed to make any further predictions.

Though I do agree one hunded percent with him, when he stated 'It's all a bit goosey, goosey.'

Wise words in deed.

Still, he'd probably have polled more votes in Hyndburn, and not lost his deposit in the General Election, unlike the Rev. Kevin Logan.

I don't see how this got into America bashing. I presume you are aware of the First Ammendment. And is what he is saying any more weird than the stuff that can be heard at the north-east corner of Hyde park? I think that's Speakers' Corner .... (I'm not going to google it .... trying to excersise my memory;)).

Caused a bit of a local stir here in the neighbourhood (he lives about 10 miles down the road from me when he announced he was putting his pets 'down' to avoid their suffering during the conflagration) ,shown on local TV , all the animal rights clowns got invoved , court injunctions sought, (didn't know until last night that we have Animal Civil Rights Lawyers)... hey its California . ;)
Still 40 minutes to go till 6pm, in California, time enough for a big tremblor , and the lottery draw for this weeks $24 million is an hour later at 7pm . :D

Well its gone 6pm , the local live news is reporting from outside his HQ ......seems he is not available for interview , amazing , there are folks gathered outside who have travelled/driven here from the East Coast, saying they have maxed out their credit cards to pay for gas/petrol , there are religious zealots all over the world but seems we (the US) have more than our fair share, I blame Obama and Voodoo   ;)

The world is seemingly full of doomsayers proclaiming that the Lord will wreak a terrible vengeance on us all or that we're going to die from some dreaded disease or natural disaster or overindulgence.

Has anyone considered the shocking alternative that we might actually just survive?

I don't know about anyone else but I wake up every morning thankful that I have a loving wife, a nice house and enough work to keep me occupied for several years. I'm reasonably healthy and I get a kick out of the little things like a nice pint of ale or a good book.

I pity anyone who looks for the worst elements in life and turns them into the focus of their energies simply because they have nothing better to occupy their time.

Think somebody should have checked him out in 1994:D

Think that's the only way to look at life Ken, not looking under every stone to find a conspiracy;)

I don't know if this will be of any interest...or whether it is just coincidence........a volcano in Iceland has started to erupt......not that I am a doomsayer, but we can all remember what happened the last time one of these things started to chuck ash out......can't we?
