Our Uk fault lines have a different cause Ancient fault lines that crisscross crust beneath Britain | World news | The Guardian "in Britain, earthquakes are driven by the enormous stresses inflicted by the shifting Eurasian plate in the Atlantic Ocean. This "continental drift" squeezes Britain from the north-west, building up stresses in the crust only relieved by slippage at fault lines. Earthquakes are more common in the west of Britain, with north-west Scotland, Wales, and the West Midlands the most active." |

Re: Earthquake
4.3 miles under Ossy ? Ossy is bad enough on the surface, so far down really would have been the pits :)

Re: Earthquake
It was caused by the sound of thousands Rovers fans leaving the Riverside Stand in order to beat the traffic, 27mins before kick off.
