Anyone here use sleeping pills?
I think Zopiclone are the most common - which I have taken on prescription. Anyone else taken them? |

Insomnia for several days after taking ecstasy is relatively common, but in a few cases this has persisted for months with excessive dreaming and sometimes nightmares.1 A persistent reduction in stage 2 sleep has been verified in a sleep laboratory. http://ecstasy.org/info/karl.html |

My use of zopiclone has nothing to do with ecstasy - I think insomnia caused by e is more closer to time taken not years after! My problem is living next to traffic lights and major junction and some other issues which I do not wish to discuss! PS. also I notice that the post you linked that is one guy from 2001, how many other people who took ecstasy like he did do not have any problem with insomnia? See it's easy to have a knee jerk reaction to these things. |

Anyone whose brain isn't addled, knows that, like insomnia, it's another well known side effect of the drugs, of which you're so keen. |

The 55 Best Herbal Remedies
" Valerian for Insomnia Studies have shown that valerian aids sleep, often as well as pharmaceutical sedatives and without being addictive. In a study published in the European Journal of Medical Research, investigators gave 202 insomniacs valerian or a Valium-like tranquilizer. After six weeks, both treatments were equally effective. "Research strongly supports that valerian works," Blumenthal says. "It's been used widely and safely for hundreds of years." Note: It takes a week or more to begin noticing benefit. Also, raw valerian root smells and tastes terrible ("like funky socks," Blumenthal says), so pills are more palatable." |
