Power Cut
 

Anyone else affected by last night's power cut heard anything from the electricity folk? For those of you unaffected the electric went off about 6:50pm and was off until 9:30. (not great on one of the coldest nights of the year), it then came back on but then subsequently went off again at some point after 10pm , restored again at 6:30 this morning! It seems to have affected properties from William St across Burnley Road and to Avenue Parade , quite a few houses in all and yet nothing in press.

Just curious as to why nothing reported . ( though well done to them for fixing it so quickly!)

We're on Pinewood Drive and we were affected - very strange no newspaper or radio report

Luckily I managed to get up for work, hangover and all.

Was told yesterday that lightning was witnessed in the area around the time of the black out, it's all very curious!
