He is making a valid point that privatisation of the NHS has lowered standards of care.

You are trivialising the issue just because you don't like the threadstarter.

Don't panic, a quick flush removes many a moral dilema & is cheaper than Vet fees.

I must say though, my shire horse is looking a bit peaky, I'll be burghered if I can flush it in one go.

Maybe I should just dump it outside Tesco?

Its quite obviously the thread starter doesn't have a clue what he's talking about, only the headline in a left wing rage, the fact that the company he is decrying was employed by the last government, maybe if he'd have taken the trouble to find out about it he wouldn't have dived in the deep end when he can't swim. I have more experience of the ambulance service than I care to remember and but for their quick attention and medical skills I probably wouldn't be posting this reply, this was last November, so when this idiot stars this kind of slur campaign sorry he's not getting away with it, whether you like it or not

knowing people in both the nursing and adminisstration side of hospitals i can assure you that Labour started this ball rolling and the gradual privitisation of the NHS.

dosnt alter the fact that teh torys are continueing it and not stopping it

of course it had to go this way though the NHS cant continue to subsiside every sod that clings on to a truck or flys over from africa with aids getting extreemly expensive drugs for free and cater for legitimate citizens of the UK as well.

It wouldnt hurt if wales and scotland paid for prescriptions though like england has too

Not really MargeR, he's raised this particular article before when he was looking to score points ( http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/1...-post2598.html (The Tories) )it was quite thoroughly discussed then too.

Sir! In response to your defamatory comment above, I'd just like to point out that your definition isn't the only instance were the "S" is predominant in relation to your average Scallys appellation, hence "Softlad", "Smartarse" also benefit from the use of the capital "S".

Furthermore, when referring to him/herself (The Scally), usually on apprehension & detention by the Scuffers or some such similar bailiff, probation or judiciary figure will begin his mitigation plea with "S'not me what done it!" or equally "S'im what done it! I wuz at me Nans!". Usually in a somewhat plaintive & disbelieving tone, accompanied by such a look of shiftyness (indubitably confirming guilt) to see if he/she is being believed by the authority in question. :) ;)

Really? Try Google translator if it helps, or is it the regional aspect you're struggling with Marge? :)

Too many cooks spoil the broth.
Too many words confuse the reader.

I prefer a clear consomme - more digestable.
