I don't know if anyone on here can answer this question, but here goes. It's been reported that the new baby is third in line to the throne. However, if Charles died tomorrow then the Queen's oldest living son would be Andrew. Would he not then be first in line to the throne?

It's all about first borns..dontcha watch Game of Thrones or what? ;)

If Chuck was childless it would be Andy.
If Billy was childless it would be 'arry.
Currently Andy is 5th I think.

He would have if Charles didn't have a son. As it is William, being second in line to the throne would get the job. With the new baby being born everyone else moves down a place. Harry is now fourth in line to the throne and any further children from William would push him down a place each time and everyone else behind him etc.:)
