Flying soon – keep an eye on this.
A possibility of an eruption going to occur in Iceland, but not a certainty.
This COULD have the same effect as Eyjafjallajökull in 2010. There was an eruption in 2011 from the volcano where the webcam is situated but was not in the news because there was no disruption to flights. In the 4 days of that eruption it released as much material as Eyjafjallajökull did in 4 weeks. This is not the volcano that the media have been predicting will be catastrophic to European flights. Earthquakes http://en.vedur.is/ News http://icelandreview.com/news/2014/08/18/roads-near-earthquake-area-closed Webcam http://icelandreview.com/news/2014/08/18/watch-eruption-live-if-and-when-it-starts I am surprised the media hasn’t picked up on this and predicting certain doom. Please note that nothing may happen. It can stop as quickly as it started. |

Re: Flying soon – keep an eye on this.
I hope it doesn't interfere with the Lancaster Flying Programmes over the next few weeks. This will almost certainly be the last time that the 2 Lancasters and the Vulcan will be seen together.
