For some strange reason the people that wear them in public never wear the top. The other thing these people tend to do is scratch in public, there was an example the other day, he was trying to scrounge a fag off me but couldn't keep his hands out of his elasticated band, scratching away to distraction, had it been the first time I'd seen this sort of action I might have been offended. I've learnt overtime that having such free entry to ones crutch isn't just a male thing, the females of the can't be arsed to dress reasonably are just as bad. IF we are going to ban the burqa can we also ban this lazy form of garb? |
Re: Political Correctness, again!
You may not actually want to see the faces of these folk wearing what you term as 'lazy garb'....but you can.
I don't think women of a certain age need a burqa to become invisible. It happens naturally, with age. Who'd have thought I would have the superpower of invisibility...but isn't it strange that it only works in shops, pubs etcetera...places where I am waiting to be served? It doesn't work if you are doing something that you shouldn't be doing.(not that that has happened to me). A burqa is the way that ethnic women remove themself from the community....the way they tell us that they do not want to participate in the society they chose to live in. All this 'virtue signalling' that they are so religiously devout they can look out on us, but we are not permitted to see them. I cannot see, for the life of me, how this garment empowers women of an ethnic background.(this is what those who have been interviewed for news channels have said.) |

I just wish trackky bottomists could be forced to dress in a manner that doesn't tempt them to play with their genitals in public. Given the choice I would keep the wearer of the Burqa they are far more hygienic. |

The could very easily be fiddling with their bits and you would never know about it. I think I might be tempted to say those who are playing 'pocket billiards' with their bits....'I am glad you aren't going to be making the butts'....or 'have you managed to pot the red yet?' You cannot put style or culture where there is none(sorry Cashy for plagiarising one of your favourite sayings). |
Re: Political Correctness, again!
Having lived in Saudi Arabia I can't help but be amused by those conflicted leftie feminists who defend their Muslim sisters' "right" to wear burkas and face coverings. There was an excellent article about this in Saturday's Times by a Muslim Oxford professor.
The question I'd like to ask those who believe it is a woman's 'right' to be covered up and kept hidden away by order of fundamentalist men is this - would those wearing burkas and niqabs stand up and defend your 'right' to show your legs and arms and if you were walking through Chop Square in Jeddah? |

I do sometimes do that....when my other half wanders off.
No, a red burqa would not be acceptable. That bright colour draws attention and everyone knows that the women wearing these do not wish to be looked at. I think they only come in black and blacker. |
Re: Political Correctness, again!
Must be hard picking which one to wear when going out

I love seeing them doing the tourist thing and all lining up for a photo!
https://static.timesofisrael.com/www...00-640x400.jpg Looks like this lot are ready for auditions in Macbeth, I hope they remember their lines! Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and caldron bubble. Fillet of a fenny snake, In the caldron boil and bake; Eye of newt and toe of frog, Wool of bat and tongue of dog, Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting, Lizard's leg and howlet's wing, For a charm of powerful trouble, Like a hell-broth boil and bubble. |
Re: Political Correctness, again!
I always used to wonder how young children coming out of school could identify their mothers? I asked one of the Saudi technicians that I was very friendly with - he shrugged his shoulders and said "maybe the shoes?".
