That is fantastic...they should be given a medal.
We need more news of this kind...it fosters hope and lifts spirits.

This is just an advert. A bit of publicity Google Page Ranking riding a current news trend. How exactly is this "supporting the country"? In reality nobody cares that they spotted demand in the market they are exploiting. For profit. They didn't say they are doing it all for free. I wonder how much of their profits these "heroes" are giving away to cash-strapped newly unemployed folk at home under house-arrest? Didn't mention that either.

How many nurses, shop workers, truckers etc, etc are giving away their wages?
Without profit that companies workers would also be unemployed do you want that?

Maybe you see it as jumping on a bandwagon...a bit of opportunistic business, but this is a local company, supporting a local economy(employig local people) and making the equipment that is needed, not just here in Lancashire, but all over the country..indeed all over the world.
If the NHS had bought from suppliers in this country (rather than china) then perhaps they would not be crying out for equipment that they need right now...or getting the RAF to fly supplies in from Turkey.

Oh dear, Skuta, you really should try to see the positive side to this. I don't know anything about the firm but I think of all the people they are keeping in employment while supplying a very necessary item. You seem to see it as if they are giving themselves a pat on the back for doing this, I see it as encouraging other companies to do likewise (as some are of course), adapting to the situation, and so importantly keeping people in work. I bet those people really do appreciate what the firm is doing.

Ask those using the kit produced how they feel about it & I'm pretty sure you'll find they care very much this kit is being made.

I'm thinking you're probably also a bogpaper hoarder & general griper.
