Less, that does not fit with the mobs current agenda so they won't want to even consider these facts.

The actions of the men that the mob consider are racist have to be taken in context of the era in which they lived.
Unfortunately that also does not fit with the current agenda....and it also takes the use of thought process and critical analysis.
Something which might be beyond the abilities of some of those in the crowd.

Their actions are similar to the actions of ISIS in Mosul, where historical artefacts were demolished because they offended the ideologies of ISIS....doing this is destroying a cultural heritage.
It does nothing to change the history of the time.
History is to be learned from....it allows us to see where society has come from....how things have changed....and for that reason these statues should be left where they can be seen by everyone.

Taddy, it means politically aware of moral and ethical issues....especially where racial, equality or justice is concerned.
It is the posturing stance of those who think that they are superior to you and me.
That is being 'woke'.

Taddy mate, as Ma.P eloquently & succinctly described those of a "Woke" nature, here's a more base explanation, pathetic, self loathing individuals (usually with lefterist tendencies) who whore themselves out to every possible case of perceived "injustice".

I guess you know that I left school with NO qualifications......so could be considered a bit of a dummy.
But I did go to night school to get a GCE....in would you believe....English!

Yes, Miss Croston was a lovely lass....and as you say...not much older than her pupils.
And she was ragged unmercifully by the boys (who made lewd comments) and fled crying to the staffroom.
The girls in the class clubbed together and bought her a pretty bag to try and make up for her upset.
I bet you did not know that!

Quite right Marge, I did not know that, good on you and the other lasses in class 4B, I think that was the one we were in at the Time but as I stated in an earlier post, I will bow down to the knowledge of the female of the species.

Stay safe, Your's, the Luddite.

this is why the labour party will always find being elected difficult. they pander to every so called minority group without any thoughts whatsoever of the majority. the millions and millions who do not care one way or the other about the current riot situation will hardly be won over by things like this and labour councils looking at their statue situations.
