Who would have guessed?

Last week I was over in the UK unfortunately attending the funeral of my sister-in-law in Sidmouth.
On my shopping list I had Lancashire crumbly cheese, so asking my brother which would be the best store he replied “In Devon you probably won’t get even Lancashire cheese let alone crumbly.
However, one of my nieces remembered a cheese specialty shop. So off we went on the search. After wandering around in the old part of Sidmouth we found the shop. It had a sign in the window saying “over 100 various sorts of cheese sold here”. I went into the shop and immediately said “ I bet you don’t have the cheese I’m looking for”, after telling her what I wanted, she held up a 1 Kg size of cheese and asked me “how much would you like sir”, to which I said I’ll take the whole piece.
Cheers

My own favourite cheese is 'Lancashisre Creamy'. aka 'Lancashisre Mild' I stripulate too that it has to have been made in postcode PR3 . which covers Longridge, Garstang and Pilling.

Get some "Stilton" or as Mrs Taddy calls it "that smelly cheese" and leave it until it is soft enough to spread with a spoon, now that does have some taste.
