I Have A Dilemma
I have a pop chat that delivers pop to the door. He has just put his prizes up to £3.50 for six bottles of pop, not extortionate I know, but I can get double that amount of pop in the Asda for the same money. I know it sounds silly but I feel like I'm only buying it from him out of pity. Should I save money by getting my pop at the Asda or do I keep getting the pop from the chap to help towards keeping a small business man in business

Re: I Have A Dilemma
Buy at the Asda thats what I say. You many feel loyalty to the pop man, but at the end of the day if it saves you money then all the better for you.
Plus is he really wanted to keep your custom then he would revert his prices. |
Re: I Have A Dilemma
Two things you can do my fairy friend.
1. Decide which you prefer in terms of taste and quality of product and go with it. 2. Start going the door in your dressing gown? |
Re: I Have A Dilemma
lf he's dishy, buy the pop at the supermarket, but still stay in touch by regularly asking him in for one.
[ l mean a glass of Dandylion and Burdock!] :) |
Re: I Have A Dilemma
Thanks for your input G78 I do feel a sense of loyalty to him because he has been my pop chap for about 2 years. I also think if everybody thought the same way as me he wouldn't have much of a business left which makes me feel guilty :(

Re: I Have A Dilemma
I haven't had a pop chap for years. I'd consider the quality and convenience as well as the cost. £3.50 isn't expensive for six bottles of good pop. What about the ingredients? Some of the cheapest pop is full of chemical junk. (Mind you so is some of the more expensive)

Re: I Have A Dilemma
would the pop chap feel guilty if you were hard up and couldn't afford it?its a shame for small buisnesses, but if the supermarket quality is good and cheaper its no contest.

Re: I Have A Dilemma
Weigh up the odds, is it worth all the hassle of carting things around.
Do you need the trouble? Which is the better quality. Lazeeboy |
