It's already in operation. When you get your shopping delivered they ask for the bags they brought the shopping in the previous week to recycle.

That's ok as long as you haven't used them for kitchen bin liners or waste food.

From my frequent and earnest observations of defecating dogs , I can say that thinner and smaller plastic bags are usually used - and the size colour and consistency of their contents are clearly visible. yuk/hughie

Think dog poo, think Margaret R.

Oooh that didn't sound too good did it. I don't mean that to sound horrible.

Margaret's a star with her dog poo, fluoride, chemicals etc.

We love you Margaret R.

Nappy sacks for my two doggies poops!

Although one of them is a Rhodesian Rigeback so there are time when a carrier bag may have been better

Re: Asda Doing Their Bit

well I did my monthly shop at asda tonight and went prepared, the till girl was laughing her head off at the varied carrier bags I had...

the freezer stuff went in thick o2, topman & matalan bags

I had morrisons, co-op & various clothes stores... she almost cheered when I pulled out an old asda one

In fact I didn't use any of their bags on offer at all and they were still handing out the free ones, the 5p ones do look very sturdy and only have asda in really small writing in the middle, but didn't need any of those either
