1 went wrong way headed to blackburn
1 threw me out just accross the road from the stag
1 went right passed my street.

At last hehe sorry the pics are late i was knackerd when i got home at 1am thanks for the lift cashman and paris i got a knock on the front door this morning from my brother at 7-30am wanting to take me to the royal lancashire show had a great time but just got back.
anyway had a great night you are really a great bunch thanks to everyone that came and to Billcat for comming it was great to meet you.

I was going to, I couldnt decide if I should go to the idiots forums 1st gathering down here or go up there, in the end I was too knackered to do either.
Shame about down here, because you lot inspired me to try to get one here and they wasnt interested. Now because a girls arranged it they've all jumped. Although I did have two or three say they would, and it sounds like they only managed the six including the two admin.

DO not remind me that barb wire didnt half have an effect spent this afternoon in A&E department with tinks who rushed me up because ive reacted badly to it, so had a nice booster tetnus & other imunisations - plus antihistimene & be on the piriton for a week too:( So basically today has been a prick in the arm & prick on [not up!!] the arse:eek: Well least explains the lagging on drinking & a 2 day hangover that wouldnt go - yet it wasn't that but barb wire poisoning!!! Least it wasn't my worry that i was allergic to the drink:D

As I was wearing a shirt bearing the word "trouble," I thought I'd better make good on the promise and make a bit of noise! Pendy saw the shirt and thought it was just right for the meet, so how could I not wear it?

Turns out there is quite a bit of history to that Grand Union flag. In the early stages of the American Revolution, it symbolized both the thriteen colonies and the wish to reach a compromise with the mother country. There were a number of flags in use at this time, but it was probably flying in Philadelphia as the Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4, 1776.

Also, very similar to one used from 1707 by the East India Company!

Thanks, mez! It's still a US flag, but with a little bit of the UK. Given how popular Mr. Bush's foreign policy is these days :eek: , might afford a bit of protective coloration as well!

The weather here is as hot or hotter than it was in Ossy during my visit - but the humidity about 100% here, so everyone is trying to keep cool. Makes me wonder (apart from the fact that it is a safe subject for discussion) why folks in the UK feel a need to apologize for their weather.
