The club that wouldn't die
Accrington Stanley Supporters Club's exhibition opens on Friday 18th July.
The exhibition is open from 10am to 4pm every Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat until August 29th. There are workshops and activities every day starting from 28th July. See attached poster and info. It is in the lecture room upstairs at Accrington Library and is free to enter. |

Tuesday July 29th - Puppet making - Age 5+ Thursday July 31st - Working with clay - Age 5+ Friday August 1st - Making 2D tropies and rosettes - Age 8 - 11 Saturday August 2nd - Mask making - Age 5+ Monday August 4th - Story writing - Age 16+ Tuesday August 5th - Painting and collages - Age 10+ Thursday August 7th - Song writing - Age 8 - 11 Friday August 8th - Mosaics - Age 11 - 16 Saturday August 9th - Painting - design a wacky footballs strip - Age 5+ Monday August 11th - Make a new board game - Age 10+ Tuesday August 12th - Simple printing - Age 10+ Thursday August 14th - Fabric stencilling - Age 6 - 12 Friday August 15th - Song writing - Age 16+ Saturday August 16th - 2D trophy making - Age 8 - 11 Monday August 18th - Batik - Age 13+ Tuesday August 19th - Stencil making and screen printing - Age 10+ Thursday August 21st - Song writing - Age 12 - 16 Friday August 22nd - Collages - Age 6 - 11 Saturday August 23rd - Collages - Age 5+ Tuesday August 26th - Fabric stencilling - Age 6 - 12 Thursday August 28th - Make a new board game - Age 10+ Friday August 29th - Collages - Age 10+ Ages are a rough guide so don't worry if your 7 year old wants to do something for 8 - 11, it's just to give a guide at what sort of age group the sessions are pitched at. Some you have to book in advance for so it is worth checking on the link that Lesley put. Most are free but a few of them have a nominal charge of £2. You can not believe how mad I am right now. Some oiks (and trust me I had a much stronger word going around in my head) have nicked one of the x-box remote console things. I found out when the next group of kids came in to play and they told me one was missing. The little oiks have now spoilt it for everyone else because I shut the game down and the tv and game will now be moved out completely! :mad::mad:

Oh, yes, I forgot - one of the main suspects wrote sh!t, sh!t through the guest book. I ripped all the pages out but it really depressed me!
