Horses, Tractors and Beer.....

17 & 18th July it’s the Great Eccleston Show…..Anyone coming over? – It’s not an invite, but it’s a good day out for the kids.

This is the next best thing to the Royal Lancs. “but without the mud and traffic jams” Highlights are the tractor pulling events and the Ale for the petrol heads. Sheep for the field rompers and for the jolly equine types there’s the horse trials.

There are loads for the kid’s to do and plenty to keep the children happy too. Food stalls, Crafts and the like…It makes Great Harwood look like a local fate…so if you enjoyed the Great Harwood you will love this……

Parking is good, foods good, but I would suggest that you stick a couple of crates of ale in the boot...

I don't believe I've ever been to Great Eccleston. I'm being pestered to take our brood to Blackpool.
